3/3/04
i planned out (on paper) a lot of places i had in the back of my head for about
a year. my mind is now free of archi-texture. i feel like ive emptied out my hard drive
in my head. it was so cluttered in there. its one a clock in the morning and there's
no place id rather be than in my own mind right now. whatever i wake up and lean
towards in the morning, is the design i will chose for my next custom model.
......i hardly sleep

2/ 26,27,28 /04 - D1USA with Drift Association/Club4ag - I learned a lot this week about myself , the guys/girls in our Team. Working at big events like this makes my mind grow more. Every time i head back home im more energetic. Running richer and advanced in timing. At least i think so. I'll cut the talk here and go straight to the pictures i have many things to do....
this
year was special. first off it was a real round being held on American soil. 2nd
all course workers were given Official D1USA shirts. Thank you!
i attended a 3 out of 4 day week at Irwindale. Tues, Thurs, Friday, and Saturday.

thats about the only time we are really recognized by spectators. we should be recognized MORE for drift days/ drift showoff/ etc.... so next time you see us working out there with drift association /club4ag staff shirts you CAN ALSO applaud for us. =)
workers you should really appreciate for their hard work are koji and hiro for their never ending work at events and translation skills. we should also recognize the Vice Pres. at Drift Association for being the main powerplant of all operations at events. a real universal worker and "key" for a successful event. oh yeah- WE DONT GET PAID! - Mr.d1 announcer
Owen (Shinji)
There is no way we will be replacing our staff anytime soon so please do not send any emails asking to help. We have our perfect team.
Naoki
I'll end here. I think that quote by the Vice President has a cool ending to my journal. Thank you Drift Association.
2/21/04 - One word describing my weekend at dd13, and creeping days towards d1usa = DRAMA!! Well see you guys at the staff meetings and D1USA. We shall run another successful event this year!
it was a blessing, rainy day and it helped me through my runs. i mostly staffed that day on course 1 but i got about 20 laps when changing shifts. i was thankful for that. i did pretty well, i know i did well minus some laps that i spun out. (sorry moto) he gave me a hard time for spinning out. as i was progressing on the course.. we had to shut down the event. =/
after the event we headed over to Carl's and ate there with drift association. i noticed my cars steering was effected. (i had crashed my car about a month ago) i never changed the inner tie rods that connect to the rack and pinion so they were a lot weaker, thus got alot WEAKER through hard foot braking into turns. i could steer left (about 10 o clock on steering wheel) and the car would operate straight. i would turn right a bit and it would still go straight. i had to tow my car home with AAA. a good 60 miles of towing back home. I had figured out that the drivers side inner tie rod had bent making the wheel unaligned. anything over 40 on the freeway was scary. nothing but vibration and truck drivers passing you by at 80 mph. glad i got home safe. here are some pictures.
